EXHIBITION GAME ANNOUNCED (August 25th,
2008) Get Fired Up! The Quad City Junior Flames are excited to invite fans to
the first Flames pre-season game of the year. The exhibition will take place
on Sunday, September 7th versus Iowa rival the Dubuque Thunderbirds. Don't
miss the action as the puck drops at 3:00pm at the Five Flags Civic Center in
Dubuque. Admission is a $2.00 donation, but any amount given at the
gates will be greatly appreciated!
DRAFT AND SCHEDULE RELEASED (May 17th, 2008): The
CSHL conducted their 2008 Entry Draft this past weekend in Detroit. The Quad
City Jr. Flames are proud to announce their draft results. The league also set
the 2008-2009 regular season schedule. The Jr. Flames are set to launch the
regular season Sept 13th and 14th by hosting the St. Louis Jr. Blues. More
details will be released shortly.

The Jr. Flames are extremely pleased to announce that Forward Bob Roseland has committed to the
Marian College hockey program for the 2008-2009 season. This Division III
program based in Fond du Lac, WI recently finished a strong season with a
17-10-1 record under fourth-year Head Coach Jasen Wise. Roseland tallied 19
goals and 22 assists in 37 games for the Jr. Flames this past season. Bob will
be joining three former CSHL players on the Sabres roster.
